1949

Creation of the MARY establishments by Pierre MARY. The initial activity was the repair and rewinding of motors to evolve into the design and manufacture of transformers and special windings.

1955

Jean CARDOT starts a first winding business in France in the Auvergne region

1985

MARY becomes Transfos MARY after the acquisition by Jean CARDOT, modernization of the company and development of important national markets.

1990

The son of Jean, Philippe CARDOT takes over the management of the company. Reinforced design office, computerization, and digital reels allow Transfos MARY to establish itself as a manufacturer

1996

Creation of the LUVICA group in the form of a family industrial holding company based in Montluçon by Philippe CARDOT. Transfos MARY can develop to larger markets in France and export.

2007

Vincent and Ludovic CARDOT succeed their father Philippe in the leadership of the LUVICA group and Transfos MARY.

2010

Transfos MARY increases its international development, innovates with a range of energy savings, modernizes its communication tools.

2019

Expansion and renovation of the production site and investments in the machinery park for more efficiency.
